Contract Vehicles – 8(a) Program

Catapult Consultants has been certified as a small disadvantaged business by the Small Business Administration.

Named for the 8(a) section of the Small Business Act that established the program to assist socially and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs with gaining entry to and competing in the Federal contracting arena. The program also allows small businesses to take advantage of greater subcontracting opportunities available from large firms as the result of public-private partnerships.

The 8(a) designation allows Catapult to secure sole source contracts of up to $3 million for its financial, acquisition, IT, and program management services.

Additionally, the 8(a) designation allows government agencies that do not utilize the 8(a) or FABS procurement processes to count the contract toward their small business goals.
