Catapult Consultants Awarded HHS IDIQ Contract
to Provide Expert Financial Management Reviews

June 2008

McLean, Virginia: Catapult Consultants, a leader in financial management and information technology services for federal agencies, announced today that it has been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to provide accounting, auditing and other financial services for the Department's Division of Financial Integrity (DFI) within the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The DFI provides financial review and oversight of HRSA's federal assistance programs and internal operations.

As an awardee, Catapult is eligible to bid on task orders issued by DFI under the IDIQ contract. Potential work falls into two categories: 1) performing financial reviews of external HRSA-supported programs; and 2) reviewing internal HRSA operations. Catapult will draw on its expert staff and proven capabilities in accounting, budgeting and auditing to compete for specific tasks.

"The diligent financial oversight provided by DFI is critical for maintaining the integrity of HRSA's important health service programs," remarked Catapult co-founder and principal Tony Fung. "Catapult is excited to be selected as a resource to support DFI in these efforts and looks forward to the opportunity to demonstrate our financial management expertise and capabilities."
