Arlington, Virginia: Catapult Consultants, a leader in providing financial, acquisition, IT, and program management services to the federal government, has been chosen by the Marine Corps Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC) to custom design and implement programming management tools to support its decision-making processes and exercise control and command for operating forces and installations.
Based in Hawaii, MARFORPAC is the largest field command in the Marine Corps, overseeing all Marine installations in the Western United States and throughout the Pacific. Catapult's support of MARFORPAC will enhance mission support and streamline budgeting and program oversight, and is a key component of MARFORPAC's effort to transform operational management.
"Establishing effective standards and systems for program and financial management is critical to the ability of the Marine Corps to maintain and enhance its mission readiness. Catapult is excited to leverage our expertise in these arenas to support the complex and critical operations of MARFORPAC," said Patrick Lynch, Vice President of Catapult Consultants.
Under the contract, Catapult will provide overarching program management solutions to address the challenges faced by the Marine Corps of difficulty in tracking the funding of programs, inconsistent program and financial management processes between installations, and the difficulties in developing budgets based on program requirements.
